Casa Gorordo Museum in partnership with Fundación Nao Victoria presented a film feature and virtual tour of the Nao Victoria, a replica of the ship Victoria that completed the first circumnavigation of the world, during the Gabii sa Kabilin: One Night Only virtual show last April 16.
For just Php 80, participants were able to watch from the comfort of their homes what it was like to be a crew member of the Nao Victoria, the challenges of its voyage and story of the first circumnavigation of the world.
The Gabii sa Kabilin: One Night Only event was available for local and international audiences and was streamed through Eventbrite. Together with 15 other feature films and documentaries from participating museums, audiences were able to cultivate a deep understanding and appreciation of Cebuano culture and identity.
Gabii sa Kabilin is one of the many programs of the Culture and Heritage Unit of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. that promotes Cebuano culture and heritage. Casa Gorordo Museum has been a GSK partner museum since the local heritage night launched in 2007.
