Gabii sa Kabilin teamed up with RAFI Kool Adventure Camp (now RAFI Center for Leaders) to organize the Heritage Hunt, which ran from 2017 to 2019.
The activity was for thrill-seeking, adventurous and competitive groups and barkadas who wish add a twist to their Gabii sa Kabilin experience and learn about Cebuano culture and heritage in a different way.
During GSK night, teams of three to five members have to complete five different challenges in any of the 10 selected participating museums or heritage sites. Teams earn points for each challenge completed, with each point being determined by their ability to complete the challenge with as few mistakes as possible
To get a prize, contestants have to complete the challenges within four hours and return to the Casa Gorordo Museum before the time runs out. Special awards are also given to the top three teams with the highest number of points.

The RAFI Generation REdemption, and Expansion of Natural resources INitiatives in the Philippines (GREENIN) program joined Gabii sa Kabilin to promote the propagation of local tree species.
In 2013, they mounted an exhibit at the Casa Gorordo Museum of rare and endangered Philippine native tree species and also organized a trivia game with tree seedlings as prizes.
In 2016, they highlighted the different native trees that have thrived in Cebu. Their exhibit entitled, “Ang Mga Kahoy sa Karaang Sugbo”, focused on the vegetation cover of Old Cebu and various tree species. They also organized the Leaf Identification game to educate participants about Cebu’s native trees.
